Why fuel rewards are easy to miss
South African fuel programmes often overlap with bank and retailer rewards. At Engen, qualifying customers may use Clicks ClubCard or eBucks relationships. At bp, BP Rewards and Smart Shopper can both be relevant. Shell and Sasol operate their own rewards programmes.
The qualifying card, payment method, tier, station and current terms all matter. Treat headline earn rates as conditional until you confirm them with the official programme.
Keep more than one relevant card
